Notifications, background tasks, automatic synchronization or alarms do not work correctly for “SoundProfile” on Android 4.1–4.4 (“Jelly Bean”, “KitKat”)?


  1. Open “Boost+” on your device.
  2. Choose “Optimize background apps”.
  3. Choose “SoundProfile” from the list of apps.
  4. Make sure that it says “Off”.
  5. Leave by pressing ⌂ (“Home”) at the bottom of your device.
  6. Open “SoundProfile” on your device.
  7. Leave by pressing ⌂ (“Home”) at the bottom of your device.

  1. Open the “Settings” of your device.
  2. Choose “Power”.
  3. Choose “Battery optimization”.
  4. In the drop-down list at the top, switch from “Not optimized” to “All apps”.
  5. Choose “SoundProfile” from the list of apps.
  6. Switch to “Don’t optimize”.
  7. Tap on “Done”.
  8. Leave by pressing ⌂ (“Home”) at the bottom of your device.
  9. Open “SoundProfile” on your device.
  10. Leave by pressing ⌂ (“Home”) at the bottom of your device.

  1. There are many apps on the app store which claim to boost performance, free up space, save battery, or optimize the RAM of your device. However, these apps interfere with other apps, like “SoundProfile”, and prevent them from working correctly.
  2. If you have any app like “Clean Master”, “Security Master”, “Task Manager”, “Phone Cleaner”, “Super Cleaner”, “Power Clean”, “DU Cleaner”, “DU Speed Booster”, “CCleaner”, “AVG Cleaner”, “Avast Cleanup” or “Norton Clean”, check that it doesn’t block or terminate “SoundProfile”.
  3. If unsure, consider uninstalling the app claiming to “clean” or “boost” your device.

  1. If you’ve made any changes based on the advice above and you’ve adjusted the settings of your device, proceed with the next step. Otherwise, there’s nothing left for you to do.
  2. Restart your device once. You can either choose the “Restart” option directly, if available, or turn off your device, wait a few seconds, and then turn it on again manually.
  3. Open “SoundProfile” once on your device – by tapping on “SoundProfile” on your home screen or in the list of all apps.
  4. Leave by pressing ⌂ (“Home”) at the bottom of your device.
